Cobalt Sky provides specialist IT services to the market research industry. These services include web surveys, processing market research data, analytics and the management of portals for information delivery and dissemination.
Cobalt Sky had identified the need for someone who could effectively deliver a marketing strategy and run their marketing activities as an extension of the business. Their priorities were to refresh their customer communications, including regular email campaigns and the development of a social media strategy. They also needed regular management of their website.
55 Connect conducted a marketing audit and made recommendations in a proposal. Rather than simply addressing one issue at a time, it was suggested that Cobalt Sky should look at its overall messaging and bring consistency to each of its communication channels and platforms, to enhance the brand and customer experience. To support the marketing activities, 55 Connect created a suite of digital marketing content, set up processes for their email marketing, improved the website and established all social media channels. We also made recommendations for longer term ideas.
After a year of working with 55 Connect, Cobalt Sky’s marketing and communications are now fully streamlined, with consistent messaging and branding across all customer touch points. Processes have been established and are working effectively. In terms of the bottom line, the company has seen an increase in sales of 7% on 2015 and a 75% increase in new business opportunities for the same period.
